Have you always wanted to work on the railway or just be part of an exciting new community based project?
Would you like to join in and help a happy band of community minded individuals and some friendly rail enthusiasts? If YES, then come along to our working bee any Sunday from 10am to 4pm at the Lithgow State Mine Railway Workshops.
You will meet our Volunteer Coordinators and be taken on a tour showcasing our diverse range of activities, to give you an idea where your talents, expertise and interests might be best suited.
Being part of our restoration and maintenance team might be up your alley, or you might even aspire to become a train driver. You can help maintain the railway tracks, grounds or play an important part in the line side presentation group.
Almost anything is possible and you will be helping us to develop and maintain a wonderful community asset as well as playing your part to establish an integrated tourist attraction for Lithgow.
